Polish Pottery Bowl - Fulfilled
Artisans use a method of hand stamping with sponge stencils, each created to be used in the creation of patterns. The original, traditional designs were based on the eye of the peacock feather, with the peacock having been a sign of prosperity and wealth. This explains the circles and dots in blues and greens.
We call it Polish Pottery because it's made in Poland. It is actually a stoneware, made from white clay and fired twice at very high temperatures, which makes it durable and functional. Each piece is safe for use in the oven, microwave and dishwasher. Perfect for daily use.
